Hello, and welcome to my home on the World Wide Web.
My name is Ahmed, but please call me Aasi (my family name - with an interesting story behind it).
I am a photographer, writer, and director based in Barcelona, Spain.
I’ve always had a deep and profound passion for connecting with others, capturing and sharing stories, since a very young age.
“Taking pictures is like tiptoeing into the kitchen late at night and stealing Oreo cookies.” Diane Arbus.
And I love Oreo cookies!
Since I discovered Photography as a teenager, I’ve realized that it’s one of the few artistic tools that can allow us to capture ‘stories in time’ for a chance to freeze a moment or a memory, share them with others, and let them last a little longer, possibly beyond our time.
Get in Touch - Looking forward to working with you!

"All of us are creatures of a day; the rememberer and the remembered alike.
All is ephemeral -both memory and the object of memory. The time is at hand when you will have forgotten everything;
And the time is at hand when all will have forgotten you. Always reflect that soon you will be no one, and nowhere."
Marcus Aurelius.
Thank you for your message! I will be in touch soon.
